Benefits of a Highly Spiritual Life
On this website I talk about healing myself from severe long term depression. I also healed myself from Complex Trauma, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). But if you don’t need that kind of healing we can start right in on how to live a highly spiritual life, which I learned from 25 years serious daily meditation. The benefits of a highly spiritual life are surprising and wonderful.
High level masters say the secrets of the universe can be learned through meditation.
Meditation is about learning to control your thoughts, which is important because our thoughts create our feelings and emotions. You’ll learn the incredible benefits of being fully present here and now, in the moment, as they say, and of living your life with meaning and purpose. It doesn’t matter whether you practice a specific religion or not. You’ll learn to look at the positive side of things, love yourself, and feel connected to everyone and everything in the world.
Increased Awareness
Meditation gradually made me more aware of myself, and why I do the things I do. I learned more about others, and why they do things. And I learned about the world, how it works and why things happen as they do. It’s a strange and wonderful feeling to gradually understand more about the most subtle and profound aspects of life. Things that used to be frustrating become easy.
And I’m not talking about being a monk. With a few minutes a day you can enjoy the benefits of a highly spiritual life, and still be successful in today’s society. You’ll be better at whatever you do, as long as it’s not harming yourself or others, or against the law.
When I started meditating I didn’t set out to become more spiritual. It just happened. I’m not even religious. My increased awareness helped me understand that everyone on this planet is connected, because we’re all made from the materials and energy of this planet. So when one person is hurt or the planet is polluted, everyone suffers.
Joy and Longevity
That’s why part of learning to live a good life includes learning to be of service to others, and to the planet. When we serve others we are serving ourselves.
Our DNA is hard-wired to reward us with health, happiness and longevity when we serve others
because we’re continuing the species.
Volunteering and supporting worthwhile charities helps us feel good in subtle ways nothing else can, and why people who get involved in altruistic activities live longer and happier lives. You can see by the photo on the right, one of the places I volunteered was the Habitat for Humanity Restore in North Vancouver.
I also learned that being financially successful and living a highly spiritual life are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they go together wonderfully. I provide the psychological tools and guidance for you to do what you love and bring your gifts to the world in a way that enriches both your clients and yourself.
Personal Power and Peace
I also teach how to access your personal power at any time and anywhere, because the greatest joys in life can only be appreciated if we’re relaxed, and to be relaxed we need to live without fear. We can only live without fear when we’re powerful, when we know we can handle anything life may bring.
As well, I use proven techniques to heal problems that might come up while accomplishing your goals. We’ll create a sacred space where I believe in you, and support you every step of the way. Make an appointment with Ken Lapp here.
I look forward to speaking with you,
